L’alumnat de 1r d’ESO hem començat el projecte d’astronomia Looking at the Stars. Un cop més estem aprenent un tema de ciències que ens interessa, alhora que millorem les habilitats en anglès com ara les expressions oral i escrita i les comprensions oral i lectora.
Una activitat que vam gaudir molt dins del projecte va ser la sortida del dia 19 d’abril, quan vam anar a l’Agrupació Astronòmica de Sabadell.
Un cop allà, primer se’ns van explicar coses increïbles sobre els planetes, les estrelles, la Terra, el Sol, la Lluna, els forats negres… i vam veure un audiovisual sobre l’Univers. Més tard, com que ja s’estava fent de nit, vam poder observar el nostre satèl·lit i els seus cràters amb un potent telescopi.
Va ser una excursió diferent i ens ho vam passar molt bé, aprenent astronomia. A part, magrat no hàgim pogut tocar la Lluna, com ens hauria agradat, la vam sentir per un moment, ben a prop!
Last week our group of 1st ESO started the astronomy project Looking at the Stars.
Once more, we are learning a science topic we are interested in and at the same time we are improving English language skills like speaking and writing, listening and reading.
A project activity we enjoyed a lot was the trip we went on to the Astronomical Association of Sabadell, last Monday, 19th April.
Once there, first we found out some astounding things related to planets, stars, the Earth, the Sun, the Moon, black holes… and watched a video about the Universe. Later, as it was getting dark, we could look at our satellite and see its craters through a powerful telescope.
It was a special school trip, in which we had a great time learning about astronomy. Besides, even if we did not touch the Moon, as we’d like to, for a moment we could feel it was so close to us!
